Bug Description

Whenever an open-file dialog appears, it presents all files, including hidden. The setting Show hidden files in the preferences of Nautilus is OFF. Of course I can always click Ctrl+H or right-click and disable showing hidden files. But it's annoying!

The general setting should apply to all dialogs: if its OFF then all dialogs should hide hidden files.

The problem was discussed:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/109571/open-file-dialog-defaults-to-showing-hidden-files
and
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1131710

The Ctrl+H solution is not a solution, its only a workaround...

Confirmed in nautilus 1:3.5.90-0ubuntu1

Even though the 'Show hidden and backup files' option in Files->Preferences is not ticked, in every 'Open file' dialog the hidden files are visible.

Ubuntu 14.04. Hidden files are visible permanently till Nautilus properties hidden files visibility checkbox disactivated. So making Ctrl+H hotkey useless.
