Bug Description
I am trying to test the A2DP/HSP/HFP profiles as requested on this post, http://
My phone is a HTC Desire Z running Android 4.0.4 (Andromadus Mimicry). My phone is paired with my PC and shows a bluetooth icon indicating that it's connected, and when I adjust the volume in media apps it shows a bluetooth icon instead of the usual speaker icon, so I assume the phone is connected and sending audio to the PC correctly.
After trying to run the script on that page, I discovered that neither "pactl list short sources" nor "pactl list short sinks" shows any bluez entries. This of course means that I get no audio from my phone. I had a brief discussion with the blog post author on IRC and he told me to submit a bug report. :)

Turns out this is likely a bug in bluez fixed not long after version 4.101 (likely http:// git.kernel. org/?p= bluetooth/ bluez.git; a=commit; h=2f92669697152 848f2fae584d45f de5d80ea6eb8).
In Progress, I'll fix this in the next bluez upload today.
