Bug Description
The button to open the Preferences dialog of Onboard is disabled for security reasons when running under the display manager. People, not knowing that it has been disabled for security reasons might think that the button is broken. Thus, in order to avoid this, it might be better to completely hide the preferences button instead of simply disabling it, when Onboard is running under a display manager.

Fine with me. This was harder to do back when the preferences button was part of the side bar, but it has been there only during development. Trunk now hides preferences and quit button instead of disabling them.
