Bug Description
When setting up a new project inside patchmetrics, we only require the source tree link, optionally the URL for the web view, but we do not have information about the branch a soruce tree should point.
This information might be useful with repository that do not have a default branch set, or where the git HEAD is not referenced: with these repositories, an operation like "git pull" to update the history, will fail (example of these repositories are "gcc" and "cpu-freq").
If we have also the branch information, we can perform a checkout of that particular branch so that the next operations will not fail.

We would need to change the DB model of patchwork upstream to add a new field, and then the code that clones the repositories and performs the checkout.
