Bug Description

update-manager.install is missing ReleaseNotesViewerWebkit.py so update-manager is always using the text files and not the html.

Test Case:
1. use precise
2. run update-manager -d
3. verify that the release notes are displayed as text
4. install update-manager from precise-proposed
5. run update-manager -d
6. verify that you get a html release notes page now

Could we see some analysis of the risk of regression here? Was the html viewer included in previous releases? If not, what are the chances that this change will result in users seeing no release notes at all, or get a crashed update-manager, instead of getting the prettified html release notes?

There is a small risk of regression:
- the webkit code is more complex than the gtk textview that may cause issues

Other than that I don't see any as it will fallback to text if there is no html availab.e

Steve Langasek (vorlon) wrote : Please test proposed package

Hello Pedro, or anyone else affected,

Accepted update-manager into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/1:0.156.14.6 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please change the bug tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not, change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!

I ran update-manger -d on a precise system and receive the release notes in text. I then installed update-manager from -proposed and had a nice pretty version of the release notes.

SRU verification for Precise:
I have reproduced the problem with update-manager 1:0.156.14.5 in precise-updates and have verified that the version of update-manager 1:0.156.14.6 in -proposed fixes the issue.
