To install YARP in Ubuntu using this repository, follow the usual procedure:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yarpers/yarp
sudo apt-get install libyarp yarp-bin

The code is build daily with a so-called recipe: https://code.launchpad.net/~yarpers/+recipe/yarp-unstable-daily. This uses a branch on Launchpad to specify how to build for Ubuntu, which can be found at https://code.launchpad.net/~yarpers/yarp/yarp-ubuntu-packaging. You can see its specific "rules" file at https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~yarpers/yarp/yarp-ubuntu-packaging/view/head:/rules. At times things will be disabled in this file because they got broken.

On the moment for example the documentation is not generated.

These Ubuntu packages hence have to be seen as a convenience for the casual user.

To make sure you have also the man pages, etc. get the code directly from https://github.com/robotology/yarp
