I'm hitting this too trying to deploy xenial with 2.0.0~beta6+bzr5073-0ubuntu1~xenial1.

I think I have a non working partition config - I have one big partition on /dev/sda and nothing else. I think I need to create a /boot/efi partition too. That may be related?
