The, umm, Fart plugin is in this branch if anyone actually cares.

What this has revealed is that we need some kind of decent way to play alert sounds from plugins. I'm using System.Media.SoundPlayer (the core .NET one), and it's *horrible* on Mono (interestingly, searching for help on audio in Mono is hard...) The sound just pops and doesn't play right. Now, that might be an issue with the specific PCM settings in the wav file -- I haven't found any documentation regarding SoundPlayer's expectation other than "wav files".

Regardless, some kind of simple "alert sound" functionality might want to wind up in Do.Platform at some point. It seems like the kind of thing that alot of plugins might want to do.

Also, you currently have to have the sound sitting in your home directory.
